How to review content? Make memes! 

In Class 10 we made memes last Friday to review the German Empire during Wilhelm II's rule (1888-1918) which is a part of one of the GCSE topics. Students creatively captured Wilhelm's interests (the military, making Germany great) and challenges (socialism and the power of the Reichstag) in various meme formats using memegenerator. And the results are awesome!

Why is making memes a great way to review?

-Students remember content better when it is used in an interactive and creative way. (interactive > constructive > active > passive learning)

-Students are more motivated as it is fun, relates to their world and there is a sense of competition (who makes the best meme?)

-I am more motivated as it relates to my interests
